STOP PRESS – DEADLINE EXTENDED UNTIL THE 24TH MAY!!!
Following the success of the Inaugural awards last year, RBST Scotland will once again be celebrating those businesses and individuals who are making a real difference in Food and Farming with our Sustainability Awards.
The Awards have been launched today (30th March 2023) and they will once again be presented at the Royal Highland Show on Thursday 22nd June.
For 2023, we have two new categories and a new way of judging.
Direct seller of the year is changed and a new category celebrating the actual markets comes in. We want you to nominate your local farmers market! The second change is in the communicator category; we are going to widen the category to “influencer of the year” which will hopefully encourage social media figures, agencies, and bloggers to take part. So if you are an influencer, we want to hear from you!

The Judging process is also changing – we will have two panels of judges. One for Food which will be chaired by Steve McMinn, Chair of RBST Scotland. The second for Farming will be chaired by John Atkinson, Chair of the Board at RBST. The full Judging teams will be announced shortly.
As last year, each entrant or nominator will first submit an application for consideration, and the Judging teams will create a shortlist from these. Those shortlisted will be asked to join a video or voice call if possible with the judges to answer any further questions they may have.
